1.1 The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting.
1.2 Apologies were received from Hefin David MS.
1.3 Apologies were received from Hannah Blythyn MS for Item 4 onwards. Lee Waters MS attended as substitute for the remainder of the meeting.
2.1 The Committee noted the papers.
2.2 In relation to item 2.8, in private, the Committee agreed to seek further information from the Cabinet Secretary and to respond to the Welsh Government by the required deadline.
3.1 The Committee heard evidence from Robbie Davison (Can Cook/ Well Fed), Professor Kevin Morgan (Cardiff University), Edward Morgan (Castell Howell), and Katie Palmer (Food Sense Wales).
4.1 The Committee heard evidence from Iwan Trefor Jones (Adra), Professor Joanne Patterson (Cardiff University), Anthony Rees (Cyfle Building Skills), and Gary Newman (Woodknowledge Wales).
5.1 The Committee agreed the motion to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting.
6.1 The Committee considered the evidence received under Items 3 and 4.
7.1 The Committee considered the Legislative Consent Memorandum on the Product Regulation and Metrology Bill. They agreed to consider the LCM further at a future meeting.
8.1 The Committee considered and agreed the draft report, and noted that it would be published before 31 October
9.1 The Committee considered the scoping paper and agreed terms of reference for an inquiry on AI and the Welsh economy.
